In plain English: EchoBridge translates conversations and suggests replies using machine translation and an on-device language model. Both can be wrong, so check anything that matters, and don't rely on it for medical, legal, safety or other critical situations. You decide what is said: the app never speaks a reply until you choose one. Be considerate of the people you are listening to. You must be 13 or older. The app is provided as is, and California law applies.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EchoBridge ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EchoBridge is a conversation translator for iPhone, made by Prava Labs, LLC. It listens through the iPhone's microphone, shows and speaks a translation of what is said, suggests short replies in the other person's language, and speaks the replies you choose. Speech recognition, translation and suggestions run on the device using Apple's frameworks; language data is downloaded from Apple.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use EchoBridge. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Accuracy of Translations and Suggestions

Translations and suggested replies are produced automatically. They can mishear words, miss context, tone or idiom, and occasionally say something you did not mean. Translation is delivered phrase by phrase, may lag behind the speaker, and may skip audio to keep up. You are responsible for checking the meaning shown beside each reply before you speak it, and for anything you choose to say with the App.

EchoBridge is not a substitute for a qualified interpreter. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or emergency communication, or to agree to anything binding.

5. Listening to Other People

EchoBridge hears whoever is speaking near your iPhone. You are responsible for using it lawfully and considerately, including telling people you are using a translator where the law or the situation calls for it. EchoBridge does not record audio; if you turn on Keep transcripts, the text of conversations is saved on your device, and you are responsible for how you keep and share it.

The App depends on Apple's speech recognition, translation, voices and, for suggested replies, Apple Intelligence. Which languages and features are available depends on your iPhone, its iOS version and Apple's own decisions, and may change. Prava Labs does not control those services.

8. Purchases

Any purchase of the App or of features within it is made through the App Store and is governed by Apple's terms. Apple handles billing, renewal and refunds; Prava Labs receives no payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

EchoBridge, its design, code and branding are the intellectual property of Prava Labs, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

EchoBridge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that a translation or suggestion is accurate, complete, appropriate or timely. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any language, voice or feature will remain available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prava Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any misunderstanding, loss or harm resulting from a translation or a reply, and its total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it at any time; deleting it removes its settings and any transcripts you kept. Because there are no accounts and no servers, there is nothing for Prava Labs to suspend; we may, however, withdraw the App from distribution or discontinue it.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before taking legal action, contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter informally. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Prava Labs regarding the App.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
