Privacy Policy

EchoBridge is built on a simple principle: a conversation belongs to the people having it. Speech recognition, translation and reply suggestions run on your iPhone. The audio is never recorded, transcripts are not kept unless you choose to keep them, and nothing you say or hear is sent to Prava Labs. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising.

1. What We Don't Collect

EchoBridge does not collect, store, or transmit to us:

2. The Microphone

EchoBridge asks for the microphone and for speech recognition so it can hear what is said and translate it. It listens only after you tap Start or while you hold Hold to Talk, and iOS shows its microphone indicator the whole time. The audio is processed as it arrives and then discarded. It is never recorded to a file or sent anywhere.

The people around you can hear when EchoBridge speaks, but they may not know it is listening. Where the law or courtesy asks for it, let them know.

3. On-Device Processing

EchoBridge uses Apple's on-device frameworks for every step: speech recognition to turn speech into text, Apple Translation to translate it, the system voices to speak it, and, on iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device language model to suggest replies. None of these steps sends your conversation to Prava Labs or to any other server.

4. Connections EchoBridge Makes

EchoBridge itself makes no network requests. The only downloads happen through iOS:

Once a language is downloaded, EchoBridge works without an internet connection.

5. Transcripts You Choose to Keep

Keep transcripts is off by default. If you turn it on, each conversation is saved as text when you stop listening, in the app's own storage on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection while the phone is locked. Saved transcripts never leave the device unless you share one yourself from History. You can delete a single conversation or every one of them from History at any time, and deleting the app deletes them too.

6. Diagnostics Log

Settings › Diagnostics has an optional log of timings and events, used to troubleshoot problems. It is off by default, stays on your iPhone, and can include transcript text. It only reaches us if you choose Share Diagnostics Log and send it, for example to support. Clear deletes it.

7. Third-Party Services

EchoBridge does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. There are no SDKs, no beacons and no pixel tracking. If a future version offers an optional cloud service, for example richer reply suggestions, it will be off unless you turn it on, and this policy will say exactly what it sends before that version ships.

8. TestFlight Beta

If you test EchoBridge through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share with us the information TestFlight collects: the email address or name you were invited with, crash reports, device model and OS version, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. We use this only to fix and improve EchoBridge, and do not share it with anyone else. Apple's collection is governed by Apple's TestFlight terms and privacy policy.

9. Purchase and Payment

App Store purchases, if any, are processed entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store any payment information.

10. Support Communications

If you contact us at [email protected], we receive only the information you choose to include in your email, including a diagnostics log if you attach one. We use it solely to respond and do not share it with any third party.

11. Children's Privacy

EchoBridge is a translation tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
