1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pravida ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pravida is an invite-only, end-to-end encrypted messenger for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, made by Prava Labs, LLC. It provides encrypted messaging, media and file sharing, disappearing messages and on-device intelligence within private chats that users create and manage. Messages are relayed through Apple iCloud or exchanged directly between nearby devices over Wi‑Fi. Prava Labs operates no servers of its own.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Pravida. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Your Identity and Your Device

Pravida has no accounts. Your identity is a cryptographic key pair generated on your device and stored in its Keychain; it never leaves the device except where you choose to mirror it to a paired Apple Watch. You are responsible for the security of your devices and for any activity that occurs from them. If a device is lost, its chats and keys go with it; there is no remote access, no password reset and no recovery by Prava Labs, because we hold nothing to recover.

5. Invites

An invite link or QR code admits anyone who holds it to the chat until it expires. You are responsible for whom you share invites with and for the expiry you choose. Chat owners and admins are responsible for managing membership in their chats.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pravida to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Distribute malware or malicious content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other people
• Distribute illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent the App's security measures or interfere with other users' devices
• Use the App for unauthorised commercial purposes

7. Encryption and Content

All communication within Pravida is end-to-end encrypted. Prava Labs cannot access, read, or moderate the content of your messages, and receives no reports of it. Chat owners, admins and members are responsible for the conduct within their chats. Because we cannot see content, we cannot act on it; the tools available to you are to remove or block a member, leave a chat, or delete the App.

8. Purchases

Any purchase of the App or of features within it is made through the App Store and is governed by Apple's terms. Apple handles billing, renewal and refunds; Prava Labs receives no payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

Pravida, its design, code and branding are the intellectual property of Prava Labs, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain all rights to the content you send.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pravida is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, delivery of any message, or the availability of iCloud or of nearby Wi‑Fi connections, which depend on Apple's services, your network and the devices involved. Encryption protects content in transit and at rest on the device; it cannot protect a device that is unlocked, compromised or handed to someone else, and it cannot prevent a member from copying or screenshotting what they can see.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prava Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, and its total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it at any time; Delete All Data in Settings removes everything from that device. Because there are no accounts and no servers, there is nothing for Prava Labs to suspend or terminate; we may, however, withdraw the App from distribution or discontinue it.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before taking legal action, contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter informally. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Prava Labs, LLC concerning the App.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
