We aim to respond within 48 hours. Nothing in Mavee reaches us, so if something looks wrong, tell us which screen, what you expected, and which accounts are connected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Today is empty. Why?
Nothing has been connected or updated yet. Open Settings › Connected Accounts and allow Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and Health, or sign in to a Microsoft 365, Google or Spotify account. Then pull down on Today to refresh. Mavee also checks for new data when you open it and in the background a few times a day.
How do I connect more than one account?
Settings › Connected Accounts lets you add several Microsoft 365 accounts. Google tracks one signed-in account at a time on the device, so a second Google account cannot update until it is the active one.
I asked a question in Search and got only results, no answer
- Answers need a device with Apple Intelligence turned on (Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri in iOS). Without it, Search still finds the matching items.
- Plain lookups never run the model; questions do. If a search doesn't look like a question, use the Ask Mavee row under the results.
- Answers come only from your own data. If the answer isn't in your mail, calendar or files, Mavee says it couldn't find it rather than guessing.
Why doesn't the Health strip show my sleep?
Sleep comes from Apple Health, so a watch or another app has to be writing it there. Check that Mavee is allowed Sleep under Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices, then refresh Today.
Why does Mavee ask for my location?
Only to show today's weather in the Today header. Location is used while the app is open and is never stored. Decline it and everything else works.
A dismissed card came back
It shouldn't. Dismiss hides that signal for good; Later hides it until 8 AM the next day. If one returns, email us the card's text so we can see what changed.
A meeting is missing from My Day
Check Settings › Calendars: deselected Apple calendars are hidden. Google and Outlook calendars update on their own schedule; pull down on My Day to refresh.
Can I try Mavee without connecting anything?
Yes. Choose Use Demo Data at the end of onboarding, or Settings › Demo later, for a synthetic week that shows every screen. Clearing it never touches your real data.
How do I see what the on-device model did?
Settings › Privacy › AI Activity lists every time Apple's on-device model ran, with what it was asked to do and how long it took. It never records the content.
How do I delete my data?
- Settings › Privacy › Erase Stored Data removes everything Mavee has read, and keeps your account connections.
- Factory Reset also disconnects accounts and returns to onboarding.
- Uninstalling the app removes it all. Mavee also prunes events older than a year automatically.
Does Mavee work on Mac?
Yes, with the same three screens in a sidebar window and the same Settings. Health data is iPhone only.
The app is misbehaving — what should I do?
- Make sure you're on the latest TestFlight build (the version and build are at the bottom of Settings).
- Pull down on Today; if the banner shows a source failing, tap Retry.
- Quit and reopen the app. If a problem persists, email [email protected] with your device, iOS version and which accounts are connected.
